Keith Hub Project - Up and Running
14/06/2019
Health & Social Care Moray is taking forward an exciting project to develop a proposal for a new health and care hub in Keith.
This would be much more than a simple replacement of the existing health centre. We aspire to provide a modern, flexible and attractive building which supports integrated working and makes a positive contribution to improving experiences. The project will represent a major investment in offering residents of all ages in the locality access to primary and community health and social care services under one roof in a facility fit for the 21st century. In addition, the hub could also provide a community resource to be shared and used by the local community, Third Sector, businesses and other community planning partners.
Staff working in health and social care services are a key stakeholder in the partnership approach being taken to develop proposals for the Initial Agreement - the key document required by the Scottish Government in order to progress the project to the next stage.
You are invited to learn more about the project at two staff briefing events to be held in the Seminar Room at Turner Hospital, Keith. Leading these will be Sean Coady, Head of Service; Susan Pellegrom, Project Manager; and Steven Lindsay, Staff side Representative.
The dates are:
· Tuesday 18 June 10.30am – 12noon
· Thursday 11 July 10.30am – 12noon.
