Consultation on Scottish Hate Crime legislation

The Scottish Government are consulting on their proposed changes to the Scottish Hate Crime legislation and they want to hear from you.
The consultation asks questions on the government's approach to consolidating all Scottish Hate Crime legislation and expanding the statutory aggravations.

The consultation is open until Sunday 24 February 2019 and the Scottish Government will publish a report based on what people have told them, by the end of May 2019.
There are also a series of free public events across Scotland to allow individuals and communities to come together and share their views and experiences, to inform the what is included in the new hate crime legislation.
