Committee Report Format Updated

The Committee Report Format has been updated to include reference to the new Corporate Plan and the 10 Year Plan (Local Outcomes Improvement Plan (LOIP)) which have recently been approved.
The format has also been updated to include reference to the socio economic impact. This is a new duty which has been placed on the public sector which came into force on 1 April 2018 and is a section of the Equalities Act 2010.
All of the changes relate to the ‘Summary of Implications’ section of the corporate report format and are to be effective with immediate effect.
The guidance notes for report authors has also been updated to reflect these changes.
