Deadlines for FMS and Payroll for December

Please find below the arrangements for Payments processing in December, to cover the office closure over the Festive period.

FMS

Final processing dates are necessary to ensure that invoices can be mailed, payments can be made to suppliers and deliveries will be received prior to the break:

Last date for debtor invoice/credit note production 21/12/2017    5.00 pm
Last date for receipt of invoices to be paid 20/12/2017 12.00 noon
Last date for requisitions (for those locations closed during the period) 01/12/2017
Last date for requisitions (for locations that remain open during the period) 15/12/2017

PAYROLL

Monthly Paid SJC & Chief Officers - pay date 28/12/17

Normal pay day (last Thursday of the month).

Last date for receipt of timesheets and expense claims for November

8/12/2017 5.00pm

 

Payment cannot be guaranteed for claims received after this date

Last date for variations, new starts, terminations etc. for December to be with HR. 08/12/2017
If any termination forms for employees leaving on or before 31st December 2017 have not been submitted by the above date please telephone the HR Helpline – Ext 3261 as soon as possible to advise of the leave date to avoid overpayment of salary.  

Contracted Teachers - pay date 22/12/17 – last working day of the month

Last date for receipt of timesheets and expense claims for November (Timesheets and expense claims for supply and temporary staff should be received by 5/12/17 as per normal timetable)

8/12/2017 5.00pm

 

Payment cannot be guaranteed for claims received after this date

Last date for variations, new starts, terminations etc. for December. HR will require forms at least two days before the payroll deadline. 07/12/2017
If any termination forms for employees leaving on or before 31st December 2017 have not been submitted by the above date please telephone the HR Helpline – Ext 3261 as soon as possible to advise of the leave date to avoid overpayment of salary.  

 

Please ensure correct payroll numbers are inserted on all timesheets and paperwork submitted to payroll, failure to do so may result in delay of payment or payment to the wrong employee.

Public Holidays

The official public holidays for the Council over the festive period, which staff will be entitled to enhanced rates of pay for, if they are required to work, are:-

Monday 25th December 2017
Tuesday 26th December 2017
Friday 29th December 2017
Monday 1st January 2018
Tuesday 2nd January 2018
